Rachel Bommarito was raised in the Keweenaw Peninsula. She graduated from Northern Michigan University in 2010 with an Elementary Education Degree. She moved to Curtis in 2010 for a teaching job and fell in love with the school and community. She obtained her master's degree in Educational Administration from Northern Michigan University in 2017. Outside of education, she enjoys rock picking, listeng to music, running, cooking, and reading. Mrs. Bommarito lives in Curtis with her husband Joe and son Alexander.
